Slalom was not such a great idea

Hi guys,

As some of you will know I was in Morzine last week skiing with my sponsor Purple Goat. I had a great time blasting about the portes du soleil for a week not worrying about races etc. It was great meeting new people and staying in the Purple Goat chalets which were both incredible so I have to say a big thankyou to Stephanie and all of the staff for their fantastic hospitality.

The people i met last week will probably know a bit more about me now than most and know that i was planning on racing two Slalom's over the last 2 days in Liechenstein. Well that proved to be not such a great idea. I skied 10 gates of the first slalom before the impact of the gates started hurting my hand and then fell. I decided not to race today trying to look at the bigger picture ie. the rest of the season and China. I think it was a wise decision as it i not the easiest task skiing slalom when you lack confidence and are slightly nervous about injury. I am training Super G tomorrow in Abtenau near Salzburg then we have a day off before some training then maybe some races depending on how things feel. I'm still really psyched to ski and can't wait to get back to 100% again.

I will let you know how things go over the next couple of days.

see ya
