I had a couple of days of in Morzine staying with SKI PURPLE GOAT which was great as i have not had the chance to relax for a while. The program was pretty hectic in Meribel with lots of races. We got 1 day off in 2 and a half weeks so it was great to finally get a lie in. I won the Under 18 GS at the seniors and finished a surprising 3rd in the Juniors Slalom which i am very happy with. I made some results and suffered some misfortune but i'm over it haha. Right now I'm in Pila which is one the other side of the Mont-Blanc tunnel in Italy. I have 4 races here which begin tomorrow with 2 Slaloms. I found some form in Slalom last week so fingers crossed it will continue for these final races before the end of a rather long and intense season. I go home for a day on Friday then I leave for a BASI qualification course in Zermatt for 10 days. So really the season is not ending until May. </div><div><br /></div><div>I will let you know how these races go now I have internet.</div><div><br /></div><div>Take Care</div><div>Harry x</div>racerharryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16022847206485800241noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4665079650194539708.post-84044656773386136522009-03-22T18:07:00.000+01:002009-03-24T15:01:08.639+01:00Austrian National ChampsToday the GS went really well, i scored my best ever GS result which was a 53. I had a good first run but made a few too many mistakes on the second. Considering my recent performances and results i will settle for today's result. Some of the best skiers in the world raced so it was good to be able to watch them and compete against them.<div><br /></div><div>We have a day off tomorrow and then off to the AUT National Championships SG. </div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>Speak Soon</div>racerharryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16022847206485800241noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4665079650194539708.post-66296696411005943562009-03-18T14:56:00.001+01:002009-03-24T14:58:27.787+01:00Slovenia not so greatHi,<div>Slovenia did not end up as well as planned. I crashed on the first day on the 1st run and fell over on the 2nd day on the second run. Pretty annoyed with the result to be honest but i have a few more gs races coming up at the Austrian National Champs</div>racerharryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16022847206485800241noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4665079650194539708.post-78498817125808836182009-03-12T14:31:00.002+01:002009-03-12T14:35:56.864+01:00Slovenia coming up.Hi everybody,<br /><br />Sorry for the lack of posting, we have been travelling from place to place training and we have had absolutely no internet anywhere. Training has been good, skied Slalom today which i crashed a couple of times but the runs i finished were pretty decent. Just trying to find some solid and consistent form before the British Champs in Meribel. Tomorrow i have a day off and we travel to Skofja Loka for 2 GS races then over to Innerkrems for 2 more GS races. I am really looking forward to racing GS after the dissapointment in China so it should be good to get back. Hand is good and i took my cast off a few days back, just skiing around with a support incase i crash again and hit it. Apart from that, there is nothing much to report.<br /><br />Take Care<br /><br />Harryracerharryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16022847206485800241noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4665079650194539708.post-73399225193326240552009-02-26T10:50:00.002+01:002009-02-26T11:01:58.210+01:00Update<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3Pl3e8m0IgWHOzgqxvmV1t9qfTp2-ts0CqWa7nMcK27_QaBHxbpQogOpE6JZbkBNIPLD8TMpyo6XzS21kpJiVFQp1RmTLHc6ZQYhyphenhyphenaeXmKaSU9qqafNX9MM_nrqwOSswgwr1o5JzIcOo/s1600-h/SL380877.JPG"><img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3Pl3e8m0IgWHOzgqxvmV1t9qfTp2-ts0CqWa7nMcK27_QaBHxbpQogOpE6JZbkBNIPLD8TMpyo6XzS21kpJiVFQp1RmTLHc6ZQYhyphenhyphenaeXmKaSU9qqafNX9MM_nrqwOSswgwr1o5JzIcOo/s400/SL380877.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5307044132459675058" /></a><br />Hi everybody,<div><br /></div><div>Chinese internet has really slowed me down with the blogging and i'm sorry. I'm having a great time out here and it really has been an experience to remember. The SG and DH races actually went pretty well and i made results in both which i am happy about. Sadly i crashed out of my best event yesterday which is really gutting. Tomorrow i am racing Slalom and then heading over to Harbin before our 5am flight back to Beijing then the UK. I trained SL today which was cool just to get into the rhythm and get the feet moving again. </div><div><br /></div><div>It really is different out here, the way of life and the people are so cool. Everybody is so friendly and helpful and there is even a 500 man army here to ensure the safety haha. That is not a joke. There is an all you can eat buffet full of chinese food which i love and an immense spa. Not really what we are used to when we are on the road so its a nice change. And everything is so cheap. We bought a huge cake made fresh with icing and the trimmings for £3. I don't know if any of the races so far have been on european tv, but the second run of tomorrow's Slalom is being broadcasted at 10.30 UK time or 11.30 European time on Eurosport 2. Keep your eyes open. </div><div><br /></div><div>Tomorrow night we will probably grab some drinks in Harbin and visit the ice festival which is supposed to be incredible then back to Europe for a few days and my theory then over to Austria again.</div><div><br /></div><div>See ya</div><div><br /></div><div>x</div>racerharryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16022847206485800241noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4665079650194539708.post-17240031013763549842009-02-16T13:26:00.002+01:002009-02-16T13:29:24.473+01:00China TodayHi everybody,<div>I'm leaving to China today and thought i'd let you all know how things have been over in the UK. Not been doing too much to be honest, just resting and seeing friends etc. Went into London a couple of times to pick up some clothes for the trip and stayed at Nick's for a night. I leave the house at 4 today although my flight is at 9 haha. We need to be there by 6, don't really know why. I'm really excited and can't wait to get there. I think i have my first DH training run on Thursday so i will try my best to let you know what is going on depending on the internet situation.</div><div><br /></div><div>Take care</div><div>Harry x</div>racerharryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16022847206485800241noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4665079650194539708.post-82421604935540457642009-02-07T21:28:00.002+01:002009-02-07T21:33:57.925+01:00Good ResultsHi everybody,<br /><br />I raced in Slovenia over the last couple of days which actually went really well. I scored a couple of 50's not sure exactly what yet which is my best result in slalom by a long way. The hand seems to be holding up well and was not causing many problems. I have a day off tomorrow then a days training before i travel to the UK to get my VISA sorted out for China, so it seems like some form has arrived at the right time. Yesterday was not amazing because i was still trying to find my rythm in a slalom course to be honest but today i had a much better first run and finally put two runs together. It was pouring of rain today and really warm so the organizers salted the course to give everybody the best possible opportunity which ended up being a great move.<br /><br />I just lost at poker and am gonna watch some t.v<br /><br />Speak soon<br />Harryracerharryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16022847206485800241noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4665079650194539708.post-71185903341493542432009-02-02T20:40:00.002+01:002009-02-02T20:48:40.168+01:00Slalom was not such a great ideaHi guys,<div><br /></div><div>As some of you will know I was in Morzine last week skiing with my sponsor Purple Goat. I had a great time blasting about the portes du soleil for a week not worrying about races etc. It was great meeting new people and staying in the Purple Goat chalets which were both incredible so I have to say a big thankyou to Stephanie and all of the staff for their fantastic hospitality. </div><div><br /></div><div>The people i met last week will probably know a bit more about me now than most and know that i was planning on racing two Slalom's over the last 2 days in Liechenstein. Well that proved to be not such a great idea. I skied 10 gates of the first slalom before the impact of the gates started hurting my hand and then fell. I decided not to race today trying to look at the bigger picture ie. the rest of the season and China. I think it was a wise decision as it i not the easiest task skiing slalom when you lack confidence and are slightly nervous about injury. I am training Super G tomorrow in Abtenau near Salzburg then we have a day off before some training then maybe some races depending on how things feel. I'm still really psyched to ski and can't wait to get back to 100% again. </div><div><br /></div><div>I will let you know how things go over the next couple of days.</div><div><br /></div><div>see ya</div>racerharryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16022847206485800241noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4665079650194539708.post-44598647154941103062009-01-22T13:45:00.003+01:002009-01-22T13:57:16.987+01:00Broken Hand<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://www.achahockey.org/news_images/org_134/Image/WUG/2009harbin.jpg"><img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 144px; height: 127px;" src="http://www.achahockey.org/news_images/org_134/Image/WUG/2009harbin.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br />Hi everybody,<div><br /></div><div>I broke my hand a couple of days ago after scoring my best ever result to date. In Turnau on the first day i scored a 58 which i am really happy with. Then all was looking set for the second day when i crashed at the end of the first run and just hit a few gates on the way. I went to the hospital a few days ago and the flew home a couple of days later once i had sorted my bags and skis out to take to china.The good thing is that there were no more serious injuries but i will still be out until China on the 16th of feb. I will just be training lots and catching up on some college work and seeing friends. Not really much else i can do. I'm still really looking forward to going to China and am looking to get some good results to make up for the lost time. </div><div><br /></div><div>Well speak to you soon</div>racerharryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16022847206485800241noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4665079650194539708.post-47267824566545923822009-01-13T21:56:00.002+01:002009-01-13T22:01:09.786+01:00World University GamesHi guys, some good news is that i have just found out that i will be competing in the WOrld University Games in China which will be incredible. It is sometime towards the end of february and we are all pretty pumped. I raced today and the first run was not too quick but the second was a lot better so i was pretty happy in the end. I have one more race here tomorrow then a day off. I am training GS here on friday then driving to Turnau which is in upper Austria for two GS's where i scored my best results last season so fingers crossed i can repeat it.<br />I am gonna go to bed now because the early starts are killers..<br /><br />Take care<br /><br />xxracerharryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16022847206485800241noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4665079650194539708.post-37636535878912511072009-01-07T15:14:00.006+01:002009-01-08T14:36:34.753+01:00Sorry about the lack of writingHi guys,<br /><br />Sorry that i have not written on here over the last few days. The password for the account was saved on my old computer which broke so my dad had to dig through lots of files to find it. Skiing has been really good since i have been back out. For the first 3 days we free skied all over the Austrian region of Saalbach-Hinterglem which was great fun. It was nice to be able to just blast about as it makes a change. Long days however, skiing from 8 till 4 so we were all pretty tired. On the 4th day we trained Super G in Hintereit which is a single lift with some of the best training conditions in Europe where teams from all over the world train. Did not ski too great but was a step forward nevertheless. Today we had a day off and went to the gym for a weights session, so right now i'm just chilling and probably about to play some poker with Jack Evans. We will be training tomorrow then travelling to Wildshoenau afterwards for 2 super g's on the 9th and 10th.<br /><br />I will let you know how things go.<br /><br />Take care<br />Harryracerharryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16022847206485800241noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4665079650194539708.post-5356186672483223002009-01-01T20:35:00.002+01:002009-01-01T20:43:55.588+01:00Happy New YearFirst of all Happy New Year guys.<br />I hope everybody had a good night last night and no-one is too hungover. It was a pretty quiet one for me as i did not want to drink because i am training again on Saturday. I did have a few beers however. I am in the UK now just seeing family and friends which has been nice and am leaving tomorrow night back to Salzburg after a day's shopping to get some essentials. We have just received our race program for the next month and all looks good, i'm racing more gs, super g and DH than the pre-xmas races which suits me down to the ground.<br /><br />I will speak to you over the weekend when im back in training.<br /><br />Once Again Happy New Yearracerharryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16022847206485800241noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4665079650194539708.post-73110398631103244722008-12-23T15:32:00.002+01:002008-12-23T15:37:49.760+01:00HomeLast night was my first night's sleep in my own bed since November 2nd. Surprisingly time has gone by pretty fast but it sure is nice to be home and see my family and friends. Last weekend we planned to do 2 GS races in Brigels (Switzerland) but they were also canceled due to the amounts of snow. It is a bit of a disappointment that so many of the races have been canceled so far this year but it is ski racing i guess. Today has been a pretty eventful day, i woke up at 10 ate breakfast and went to the dentist. Then got home had lunch then moved on to the garden where i have been for the last few hours. Not quite first day off i was hoping for but nevertheless it is great to be home.<br />Anyway i want to wish everyone a merry christmas and a happy new year.<br />Please keep following the blog.<br />Harry xracerharryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16022847206485800241noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4665079650194539708.post-89131269547282462892008-12-17T23:05:00.003+01:002008-12-18T11:21:16.409+01:00Possibly the hardest conditions i have skiedSo.. The last two days were fairly interesting to say the least haha. We had 2 Slaloms in Davos/Klosters and they were without doubt the hardest slaloms i have ever raced. 150 people started both days and only 30 people finished each race. Sadly, I was one of the 120 more unfortunate ones on both occasions. The piste was sheer ice (glass) and the snow was so aggressive. This made it so hard to ski especially as the tracks were not soft, they were simply hard bumps!<br />But tomorrow there are 2 Super G's on a so called 'easy piste' hopefully i can get a couple more results before i fly home on Monday. I'm feeling confident and my skis are running fast so there is nothing really to complain about.<br /><br />I will post tomorrow after the race with the results.<br /><br />Goodnightracerharryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16022847206485800241noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4665079650194539708.post-48585711335343324892008-12-14T01:23:00.002+01:002008-12-14T01:29:03.792+01:00last 2 races cancelledHi everybody,<br />The last to races on Thursday and Friday were canceled due to massive snow falls. It is a bit of a bummer as i have been skiing pretty well in both disciplines. But on the plus side we had a great day powder skiing on Friday and i landed a couple of front flips which i haven't attempted for a couple of years. We have 6 races in a row starting on Tuesday which i'm not too sure will happen to be honest because of the big dumps of snow. And the weather always needs to be good to run speed events due to the 'danger factor'<br />Anyway i will keep you posted on what is happening over the next week<br />speak soonracerharryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16022847206485800241noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4665079650194539708.post-28497794428693994682008-12-10T14:18:00.000+01:002008-12-10T16:29:59.403+01:00Cancelled after first run<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-bcRr60jwxn3-jSopktZQ-FZXGFUgUTX6v0Q0OMYvjIzWuUK8KLJ0Kf1-IEVRz6myJ0gyG5xI0QTU_PmIzM-SyZgfsFxqvxzTl3eTOW_feL64FFDEQuHiCU1zJ1h7avslCMCWfILUhWw/s1600-h/tipping.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 245px; height: 309px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-bcRr60jwxn3-jSopktZQ-FZXGFUgUTX6v0Q0OMYvjIzWuUK8KLJ0Kf1-IEVRz6myJ0gyG5xI0QTU_PmIzM-SyZgfsFxqvxzTl3eTOW_feL64FFDEQuHiCU1zJ1h7avslCMCWfILUhWw/s320/tipping.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5278183503300620722" border="0" /></a><br />I finished the first run in heavy snow and bad visibility and the called off the race about 5 people after me. I skied into tenth position from a start bib of 32 which I was really pleased with. I am just sitting in the mountain restaurant keeping warm and focused while I wait for the first run in the second of the four races here.Today is another GS. I have two slaloms from tomorrow.<br /><br />Fingers crossed we can have another day like yesterday then I will be pretty happy. I will let you know how it goes later once I have finished.<br /><br />Bye<br />Regards<br />Harry Brownracerharryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16022847206485800241noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4665079650194539708.post-47448575199833274272008-12-03T23:15:00.001+01:002008-12-04T09:40:05.973+01:00Average dayToday was a tough day training. Felt like i was skiing pretty well but the times were not reflecting it to be honest which is always disappointing. I'm not too worried though as i know that the form is there and i have been skiing fast all summer, so i'm just going to keep cool and be patient. One day bad training is hardly worth panicking over! Apart from that all is good, just suffering from the wear and tear of skiing in general but they are only little aches and pains and fortunately nothing worse which is sadly unlike one of the girls from our team (Melissa Piper) who broke her leg racing a super g and will be forced onto the sidelines for around 8-9 months. She is due to have an operation today so I wish her luck with that and a speedy recovery. Touch wood i can stay injury free this season.<br /><br />We have a day off tomorrow followed by a travel day to St. Moritz in Switzerland on the Friday. Lastly, I hope any Arsenal fans out there enjoyed their ever so sweet loss to Burnley yesterday in the Carling Cup and all Spurs fans are relishing tonight's victory against Watford!!!<br /><br />Ciaoracerharryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16022847206485800241noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4665079650194539708.post-91924163283026362002008-12-01T21:03:00.002+01:002008-12-01T21:08:25.644+01:00Its a tough sport for sureHi everybody,<br />Today was not so good as I crashed out towards the end of my first run which was pretty thin snow to be honest. Gave myself a bad dead leg which is causing a bit of a dilemma for tomorrow but I'm hopeful I will be able to race somehow. The good news is that my coach said it is the best he has seen me ski slalom which is positive. Just going to keep my chin up and wait for the results to come, I'm sure they will, it's a long road of ups and downs but I still love it despite the crashes. Jack and Scott also crashed out plus the Europa cup race has been postponed till Thursday so Pete and TJ are racing here with me tomorrow.<br />I will let you know how tomorrow goes anyway.<br /><br />Regards<br /><span style="color:#888888;"> Harry Brown</span>racerharryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16022847206485800241noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4665079650194539708.post-65436289716307984922008-12-01T16:55:00.000+01:002008-12-01T16:57:59.754+01:00For Sale<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgPXrJ8HBXNo_T9eW0jdAikNL1D4B2FKsAAy8-HnZaHD9DDFwJO2VfaKqKwoKxQLkTVhiQBzHcC6qiGYRQTpgy8_4cD9mZolEGmimP4DHrzWrXWOA44oUVxja4PM-0fqwyFOww8Lhrt510/s1600-h/DSCN0844.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 201px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgPXrJ8HBXNo_T9eW0jdAikNL1D4B2FKsAAy8-HnZaHD9DDFwJO2VfaKqKwoKxQLkTVhiQBzHcC6qiGYRQTpgy8_4cD9mZolEGmimP4DHrzWrXWOA44oUVxja4PM-0fqwyFOww8Lhrt510/s320/DSCN0844.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5274851315818444434" border="0" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7XaU1wrFAAoK-UUdc92CkeOMxBGUAek5HXJ_4c-BLkXYyHvCIPNDC0XOZzcWJuFXFVB3ltz945DW3BujhuzvX-5eWBJMdRXhEirUhEGlWHMkgGQ8yVYW93_FZHgLVDhUTWY6aRv8za6A/s1600-h/DSCN0841.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 222px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7XaU1wrFAAoK-UUdc92CkeOMxBGUAek5HXJ_4c-BLkXYyHvCIPNDC0XOZzcWJuFXFVB3ltz945DW3BujhuzvX-5eWBJMdRXhEirUhEGlWHMkgGQ8yVYW93_FZHgLVDhUTWY6aRv8za6A/s320/DSCN0841.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5274851315149399474" border="0" /></a><br />Absolutely Fantastic Storm Jacket for Sale. <br>
<br>Been training with the europa cup team over the last couple of days near Schladming, which is an hour and a half away. Very cold and early mornings, but the training has been totally worthwhile. For the last two days we have been waking up at 5.30 and travelling over there so, we are ready for the first lift. Tomorrow is the same programme but Slalom instead of GS. It's weird how the summer's training has simply flown by and to think that tomorrow is our last day training before the race season really starts. Nevertheless, i feel ready and can't wait to race on monday and see where the summer's hard work has got me. I want to say good luck to my great mates T.J and Pete who are racing in their first europa cup on Monday in Reiteralm which im sure will be a great experience. The one thing about skiing is you make some great life long mates and we have all grown up together and despite our competativness we really do have to spend a lot of time together and watch eachothers backs. I'm gonna hit the sack now because the recommended 8 hour sleep is decreasing fast.
<br>
<br>Take care x

Did not ski great but to be honest i am not a big fan of the piste and am never too fast on the flats. My first races of the season are on the<br />-01.12.2008-02.12.2008 in Kaunertal SLALOM + GS<br />-06.12.2008-07.12.2008 in St.Moritz 2x GS<br />-09.12.2008-10.12.2008 in Bormio 2x GS<br />-11.12.2008-12.12.2008 in Bormio 2x SL<br /><br />I'm really looking forward to racing Kaunertal next week as it is a really nice piste and generally a good race to score so if all goes smoothly without mistakes things should work out. Although it was where i broke my hand last year. Over the next few days we will be training around the Kitzsteinhorn and Schladming then take a day off before the first races.racerharryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16022847206485800241noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4665079650194539708.post-78938775781743735792008-11-21T16:59:00.005+01:002008-11-22T08:46:07.869+01:00Bad News!!!<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOdvtApGdIu9Bc6t2rKFxIac2_mqFf11dknEPoJ1WHCPoxWadMsW3gHX3e7sKx7_7KljmVwTgqQqh5CzmmQxd2sYOv6C0KuzkjWwtxce_h8HOlot6c9cxQG5nh2eMe-c8P_uh1apU_cY0/s1600-h/weLoveChemmy.jpg"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOdvtApGdIu9Bc6t2rKFxIac2_mqFf11dknEPoJ1WHCPoxWadMsW3gHX3e7sKx7_7KljmVwTgqQqh5CzmmQxd2sYOv6C0KuzkjWwtxce_h8HOlot6c9cxQG5nh2eMe-c8P_uh1apU_cY0/s320/weLoveChemmy.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5271161932642974642" border="0" /></a>Hi guys. Sadly this time i have some pretty bad news. Chemmy Alcott (Britain's number 1 female skier) has broken her ankle training Giant Slalom. Chemmy has had a great start to this season finishing top 10 in the opening race of the season in Soelden. Let's hope Chemmy get's back on snow fast and is racing again as soon as possible. Yesterday was a really good day training for me after i took a day off because of my knee. I skied both Gs and Sl and had a very good feeling in both disciplines. So it looks like i could be racing next week after all but im not 100% sure as of yet. Today the lifts closed after one run because of the wind, but that one run was just enough time for us to leave our bags at the top of the mountain which was a bit of a problem. We managed to convince a 'lifty' to take us up on a ski doo which saved us some walk. We have spent the last six hours taking our skis, bags and all sorts of equipment from the mountain and bringing it back to base. Everybody dreads days like this because they are such an effort especially considering it was pouring with rain..<br /><br />Good luck with the injury Chemmy.<br /><br />Bye guysracerharryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16022847206485800241noreply@blogger.com0
